Effective September 25, 2026. This policy describes how ProvenNomad handles information when people build talent or coach profiles, hire through the marketplace, verify claims, communicate, or use billing and scheduling features.
Information you provide
We may receive account details, profile and work history, performance claims, proof files, Loom or external links, training and endorsement information, company details, opportunity and hiring information, communications, notification preferences, billing contact details, interview information, and post-hire reports.
Verification information
Work and training verification requests may include verifier names, professional details, responses, written endorsements, links, and supporting context. ProvenNomad keeps verification state separate from unverified self-reported claims.
Payments
Payment-card setup and charges are handled through a payment processor. ProvenNomad stores billing status and limited card descriptors such as brand, last four digits, and expiration details when supplied by the processor; the application does not need to store a full card number.
Automatically generated records
The service creates operational records such as authentication and security logs, marketplace engagement events, audit history, notification and email delivery state, agreement acceptance details, interview and pipeline history, verification events, and billing/webhook records.
How information is used
Operate the marketplace
To create accounts, publish approved marketplace records, match companies and talent, support conversations and interviews, record placements, and provide dashboards.
Build trust and prevent abuse
To review evidence, maintain verification and dispute history, enforce role and marketplace eligibility rules, investigate suspicious activity, and protect users and the service.
Communicate
To send account, verification, hiring, messaging, interview, billing, and marketplace notifications according to applicable notification preferences.
Improve the product
To understand marketplace activity and product performance using operational and engagement records.
Visibility and sharing
Public talent records
Only approved records marked live are shown in the public talent directory. Public records are intentionally limited, and unverified performance metrics are not published as verified results.
Protected marketplace information
Additional identity, profile, evidence, conversation, interview, and hiring information is limited by marketplace permissions and is shared with relevant participants as needed to provide the service.
Service providers
ProvenNomad uses providers for hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, payment processing, and optional calendar integrations. Those providers receive information needed to perform their services.
Legal, safety, and business needs
Information may be preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect the service or users, investigate abuse, resolve billing or marketplace disputes, or respond to valid legal process.
Your choices and account data
Profile control
Talent can edit their profile and evidence. Marketplace publication remains subject to listing and verification rules.
Notifications
Signed-in users can manage supported email notification preferences from their settings.
Data copy and deletion requests
Signed-in users can request a copy of their account data or request account/data deletion from the Account & Privacy center. Requests are reviewed so that active billing, fraud-prevention, safety, verification, dispute, or audit records are not silently destroyed when they still need to be resolved.
Retention
ProvenNomad retains information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the marketplace, maintain trust and audit history, resolve transactions or disputes, protect the service, and meet applicable obligations. Retention can vary by record type.
This policy describes the current product behavior and should receive qualified legal review as ProvenNomad expands jurisdictions, data uses, or service offerings.
